The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating role of job satisfaction in the relationship between organizational loneliness, internet addiction and job boredom. Within the scope of the research, online and face-to-face surveys were conducted. 360 personnel from six public institutions operating in the province of Ankara participated in the research. Correlation and regression analyzes were performed with the SPSS 24 program for the analysis of the data. According to the analysis, there is a positive relationship between organizational loneliness and internet addiction, and organizational loneliness and job boredom. In addition, with regression analysis, it was concluded that job satisfaction did not have a mediating effect between organizational loneliness and internet addiction, and that job satisfaction had a partial mediating effect between organizational loneliness and job boredom. In other words, the increase in job satisfaction does not affect the effect of organizational loneliness on internet addiction. However, the increase in job satisfaction partially reduces the effect of organizational loneliness on job boredom. This study showed that if the job satisfaction of employees who cannot establish quality relationships with others in the workplace is increased, internet addiction will not be affected, but the level of boredom will decrease partially.
