Abstract

One of the most debated issues in work life is occupational accidents and occupational diseases. In this context, this study aims to investigate the relationship between occupatinal accident and women employment and panel data method was used. The data set consists of the data on the work accident and female employment rate for the 14 countries with the common data set from the European Union member countries for the years 2000-2016. According to the analysis of the relationship between work accident and female employment; although there is a positive relationship between the two variables, women employment affects the work accident to a very low level.
