Abstract


The aim of this study is; In Turkey animal disease-free farms to determine the socio-economic and structural properties is to determine the problem by examining the animal disease farm supports. The data of the study, 85% of the city (Kirklareli, Denizli, Aydin, Izmir, Manisa, Gaziantep, Balikesir) where the company is located in Turkey animal disease-free farms, with the business owner 131 animal disease-free farms are obtained by applying the face to face questionnaire. According to the results of the research, the communication with the institutions/organizations is increased with the understanding of environmental cleanliness and the conscious use of drugs in animal disease-free farms after the use of support. In addition, it is been determined that there is a significant increase in keeping vaccine and drug records. Clinical control of animal diseases is increased moderately, and animal housing conditions are improved moderately in farms. In the farms examined; It is determined that the animal disease-free farm support is insufficient and if the support increases, the certificate will become attractive. The need for raw milk support, milk and animal sales price to be higher in farms without animal disease than other farms emphasized by the producers. With the advantageous position of animal disease-free farms in marketing, it is emerged that a difference should be made among other farms.
