BALANCED SCORECARD APPLICATION RELATED TO INTEGRATION OF STRATEGIES IN AIRLINE OPERATION MANAGEMENT

The BSC is a system transforming a business’ vision and mission to the measurable strategic targets under four dimensions. BSC, which is generally studied in terms of measuring performance in four dimensions in the literature, can also ensure the integration of daily operation activities with strategies if implement right way.
Airline Operations Control Center (AOCC) manage the operation in airlines. It can be stated that when the annual department targets of the AOCC organization are determined to achieve the strategies, daily operations in airlines can be integrated with strategies. The aim of this study is to carry out an application study about the integration of AOCC department targets with strategies determined by BSC method
Within the scope of phenomenology, one of the qualitative research methods, it was tried to provide in-depth information about how strategies are integrated with daily operations by using BSC in the AOCC department. At the end of the study, it is stated that determining the AOCC department goals in such a way as to achieve annual airline targets and strategies can provide integration.
