Abstract

In this study, it is aimed to determine the contributions of strategic management practices to the crisis management of enterprises. In this context, in predicting the uncertainties that occur during crisis periods and taking possible corrective measures; the importance of strategic management tools for businesses, their benefits and possible remedial measures have been researched. In the study, a survey was conducted between 20.04.2021 and 30.06.2021 to 450 people over the age of 20 working in the "" İstanbul Madeni Eşya Sanatkârları Sanayi Sitesi"". In the first part of the questionnaire of this research, demographic questions were included in order to obtain information about the gender, age, length of employment and educational status of the participants. ""Strategic Management Scale"" in the second part; It was developed by Kayar, (2019: 99); The opinions of the participants were taken with the questions in the scale and on the issues related to strategic management practices. In the third part of the questionnaire, using the Crisis Management Scale developed by Doğan (2010: 104); It is aimed to get the opinions of the participants on issues related to learning from mistakes in crisis management, preparing for current crises and being prepared for future crises.
