This research focuses on the relationship between personal development and job satisfaction, which has become a very popular concept in recent years. In this relationship, the moderation effect of Type A personality traits was studied. The sample of the research is public and private sector employees operating in Mersin. All employees in different positions of the related organizations were included in the study. In the study, 251 employees’ responses were obtained through the questionnaire form. The research is a descriptive study using the screening model. As a result of the analyzes, explanatory findings have been collected about personal development opportunities, job satisfaction and personality traits related to employees in different sectors. As a result of the study, it was found that personal development possibilities have a positive effect on job satisfaction. However, it has been found that this effect does not change due to the fact that the person shows a high or low level of Type A personality trait. Similarly, the Type A personality traits does not have a significant relationship with both variables.
