Abstract

The purpose of this study, which is grounded in Social Cognitive Theory, is to determine the relationship between ambidextrous leadership orientations and a creative team climate. It also sets out to identify the moderating role of educational level in this relationship. To this end, data were collected via a survey from 212 employees who voluntarily participated in the study at organizations and businesses in both the public and private sectors. In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analysis were used, and a moderating effect analysis was conducted using the SPSS Process Macro 4.2 tool. According to the findings of the study, the model established between ambidextrous leadership orientations and creative team climate was found to be significant, and it was determined that ambidextrous leadership orientations have a positive effect on creative team climate. Moreover, it has been determined that educational level plays a moderating role in the relationship between ambidextrous leadership and a creative team climate. In conclusion, team members’ perceptions of ambidextrous leadership play a significant role in the generation of creative and innovative ideas. Indeed, the study reveals that ambidextrous leadership orientations —which facilitate the development of strategies that foster creativity through interaction and collaboration among team members—have a significant impact on team climate, and that this impact varies depending on educational level. When considered within the context of organizational behavior, this study emphasizes the need to develop strategies that will enhance ambidexterity in leadership and offers recommendations for both theory and practice.
