Abstract

Accessibility, which has become the most important part of the life cycle; also makes physical, mental and digital transformation necessary in every field. Universities, which are one of the most important parts of the society and contribute to its development in every sense, are among the institutions that should have the highest level of accessibility in this context. Two of the most important elements of the universities are instructor and students. When needed, their ability to access each other quickly and without intermediaries will undoubtedly increase the quality of education activities. Today, with the development of technology, the speed of reaching people and information has increased. Groups of people with common characteristics living in the same period are defined as the generation. The instructors working at the universities have different generations causes them to differ in many aspects. In this study, intergenerational difference in terms of the concept of generation, technology use and communication, accessibility, intergenerational difference within the scope of accessibility in universities has been tried to be explained. On the basis of the generational differences between instructors and students in universities, it is aimed to conceptually evaluate the differences in technology adaptation skills, communication styles and accessibility and to present suggestions to increase accessibility
