Bu çalışma, Verdoorn yasasını çevresel sürdürülebilirlik boyutuyla genişleterek Türk imalat sanayiinde işgücü verimliliği, katma değer ve emisyon arasındaki ilişkiyi mikroiktisadi bir çerçevede incelemektedir. Geleneksel Verdoorn hipotezi çıktı artışının verimliliği artırdığını öngörürken, bu araştırmada modele istenmeyen çıktı olarak kişi başına karbon emisyonu dâhil edilmiştir. 2010–2022 döneminde 15 imalat sanayi alt koluna ait panel veriler önce statik bir çerçevede Driscoll–Kraay tahmincisi ile analiz edilmiş, ardından bulguların sağlamlığı dinamik panel yapısı altında sapması düzeltilmiş gölge değişkenli en küçük kareler (LSDVC) tahmincisi kullanılarak test edilmiştir. Statik ve dinamik analiz sonuçları tutarlı biçimde Verdoorn yasasının geçerliliğini desteklemekte; kişi başına katma değerin işgücü verimliliğini pozitif ve anlamlı şekilde etkilediğini ortaya koymaktadır. Emisyon artışları her iki modelde de verimlilik üzerinde olumsuz bir etki yaratırken, katma değer ile emisyonun etkileşim teriminin pozitif katsayısı yüksek üretim düzeylerinin çevresel baskıların olumsuz etkisini kısmen telafi edebildiğini göstermektedir. Bulgular genel olarak imalat sanayiinde çıktı–verimlilik ilişkisine çevresel bir boyut eklenmesi gerektiğini, büyüme ve sürdürülebilirlik dinamiklerinin mikroiktisadi düzeyde bütüncül biçimde ele alınmasının önem taşıdığını ortaya koymaktadır.
