Sosyal Medyada Doğal Alanların Korunması Bağlamında Lokasyon Paylaşmama Kültürü: Bir İçerik Analizi

Öz

Bu çalışma, sosyal medya kullanıcılarının doğal alanlara ilişkin konum bilgisini bilinçli biçimde paylaşmama davranışını "lokasyon paylaşmama kültürü" kavramı çerçevesinde incelemektedir. Instagram’da görsel odaklı yoğunlaşan doğa paylaşımları, kimi zaman hassas ekosistemlere yönelik aşırı ziyaretçi baskısına yol açmaktadır. Bu bağlamda bazı kullanıcılar, deneyimlerini görsel olarak paylaşırken tam konum bilgisini vermekten kaçınmakta; bu tutumu çevresel hassasiyet ve sorumluluk gerekçesiyle meşrulaştırmaktadır. Araştırma, içerik analizi yöntemiyle sosyal medya paylaşımlarındaki çevresel söylemleri ve paylaşmama gerekçelerini çözümlemiştir. Bulgular, lokasyon paylaşmama pratiğinin kalabalıklaşma korkusu, çevresel zarar ve kirlilik endişesi gibi motivasyonlara dayandığını; aynı zamanda etik sorumluluk ve doğal alanları koruma söylemleriyle desteklendiğini göstermektedir. Ayrıca kullanıcıların yalnızca konum bilgisi paylaşmamakla kalmayıp, diğer kullanıcıları da bu yönde davranmaya çağıran normatif bir iletişim dili geliştirdiği ortaya konmuştur. Bununla birlikte paylaşımın tamamen ortadan kaldırılmadığı; fotoğraf, metin ve hashtagler aracılığıyla sürdürüldüğü ancak konum bilgisinin bilinçli biçimde sınırlandırıldığı belirlenmiştir. Bu durum, seçici görünürlük temelinde şekillenen bir dijital iletişim pratiğine işaret etmektedir. Çalışma; sosyal medya, çevresel iletişim ve dijital etik literatürleri arasında köprü kurarak, lokasyon paylaşmama davranışının bireysel bir tercih olmanın ötesinde kolektif bir çevresel sorumluluk biçimi olarak konumlandığını ortaya koymaktadır.
