Entrepreneurship is an important factor for the economic development of countries. It is important for entrepreneurship to increase students' inclination towards entrepreneurship and to identify entrepreneurship opportunities and obstacles to entrepreneurship. In this study, it is aimed to measure the socio-cultural adaptation level of the international university students studying in Turkey (TRC1) in the region where they live and to investigate the effect of this adaptation on the entrepreneurial tendency.
For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to 348 international students and the cultural adaptation and entrepreneurship tendencies of the participants were measured. Research questionnaires were collected using the convenience sampling method. Correlation test was used to determine the relationship between variables, regression analysis was used to determine the effect, and t-test and ANOVA tests were used to determine the differences in demographic variables. According to the findings of the study, it was observed that social adaptation affected the entrepreneurial tendency of the participants. Academic adaptation, on the other hand, did not affect the entrepreneurial tendency. In addition, it was determined that the participants differed in some subjects according to their demographic characteristics. It has been concluded that the entrepreneurial tendencies of international students are related to their cultural adaptations, and that general adaptation and social adaptation are determinants in this relationship.
