THE AFFECTS OF UNİVERSİTY STUDENTS ON THE CİTY IMAGE: A SURVEY IN AFYONKARAHİSAR

In this study, it is aimed to measuring the affect of university students on perceived images of “the city, the citizens of the city and the university”. Data were collected by a questionnaire from two groups people (test group, control group). In the test group, there are people that they have got a relation with the students of Afyon Kocatepe University but they are not citizens of Afyonkarahisar. In the control group, there are people that they don’t have any relations with Afyonkarahisar. According to results, university students don’t have any considerable affect on “the city and the citizens of the city” images, but they have a positive effect on the university image.
