Abstract

In Anatolia, which has a rich handicraft culture, women's headdresses, which provide unity with their traditional clothes, have an important place in traditional arts. Hood is one of the complementary of women's tepelik; It is a type of jewelry that is slightly hollow and circular and is used by placing it on the fez. It is a jewelery that is worn on a fez-free hair as well as on a fez. Hoods are made of metals such as silver, gold, brass and copper, with ornament techniques such as hole work, filigree, nailing, enamel, inlay, relief and granulation. The aim of this research is; products in Nevşehir Museum are examined and evaluated in terms of their current state, technique, size, raw material, motif, decoration subjects and composition features of tepeliks exhibited in the Ethnographic exhibition hall. The sample of the study consists of ten tepeliks.
