Dijital Dönüşümcü Liderliğin Yatırım Kararları Üzerindeki Etkisi: Dijital Dönüşümün Aracılık Rolü

Özet

Dijital dönüşümün başarısı, örgütün bu süreci ne ölçüde meşru ve kendi yapısıyla uyumlu bir değişim olarak benimsediğine bağlıdır. Yeni kurumsal teori çerçevesinde liderlik, örgütsel değerler ve inançlarla bütünleşik bir unsur olarak ele alınmakta ve bu nedenle dijitalleşen yapılara paralel olarak liderliğin de stratejik düzeyde dönüşmesi gerekmektedir. Dijital dönüşüm, yalnızca operasyonel süreçleri değil, aynı zamanda yatırım kararlarını da etkileyen stratejik bir faktör haline gelmiştir. Bu bağlamda dijital dönüşümcü liderlik, örgüt içinde dönüşümü yönlendiren bir rasyonalite oluşturarak yatırım kararlarının dijitalleşme temelli biçimde şekillenmesine katkı sağlar. Bu çalışma, dijital dönüşümcü liderlik ile yatırım kararları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemekte ve dijital dönüşümün bu ilişkide aracı bir rolü olup olmadığını test etmeyi amaçlamaktadır.
Araştırma modeli, SmartPLS yazılım paketi kullanılarak kısmi en küçük kareler yapısal eşitlik modellemesi (PLS-SEM) ile test edilmiştir. Çalışmanın örneklemini İstanbul ilinde hizmet ve üretim sektörlerinde faaliyet gösteren firmalarda çalışan 112 üst yönetici oluşturmaktadır. Analiz bulguları, dijital dönüşümcü liderliğin hem dijital dönüşüm algısı hem de yatırım kararları ile pozitif olarak ilişkili olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca bulgular, dijital dönüşüm algısının yatırım kararlarıyla pozitif olarak ilişkili olduğunu ve dijital dönüşümcü liderlik ile yatırım kararları arasındaki ilişkide kısmi aracılık rolü üstlendiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu bağlamda, elde edilen sonuçlar yalnızca teknolojiye yatırım yapmanın değil, aynı zamanda dönüşümcü liderlik yaklaşımlarının benimsenmesinin de dijitalleşmenin karar alma süreçleri üzerindeki etkisini artırmak açısından önemli olduğunu göstermektedir.
