EVALUATE THE ACTIVITIES OF LEARNING ENVIRONMENT THAT MORPA CAMPUS PRESENTED IN TERMS OF CLASROOM TEACHERS OPINIONS

In this study, it has been aimed to evaluate the effects of Morpa campus on learning/teaching environments in terms of clasroom teachers’ opinions. Qualitative research method has been used for data collection, analysis and interpretation this research. The study group of the research was composed of 16 Morpa Campus user teachers who were selected on a volunteer basis from the schools that were chosen by using typical case sampling which is among the purposeful sampling methods. In order to attain the views of the participants on Morpa Campus open-ended semi-structured interview questions were prepared and applied. The attained data were analysed via descriptive analysis. According to the research results it was seen that Morpa Campus is compatible with the basic outcomes of Ministry of National Education, that the theme and subject alignment overlaps and the subjects are appropriate for the principle of progressivity. Moreover, it was seen that visual and audio components have eased the memorability of the subjects. The disadvantages of Morpa Campus was seen as approaching the topics superficially and not providing in in-depth knowledge and little contribution to scientific research skills whereas using a language that children can understand and enriching the content of the lesson were seen as the advantages. It has been stated that it has attracted the attention of students, increased students’ motivation and participation as well as it has made lessons enjoyable and has contributed to teachers in teaching difficult acquisitions to the students.
