Abstract

This study aims to find the association between problematic internet usage and aggressive behavior in high school students. The study group consists of 410 students at 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades in 2016-2017 Education year in a Private High School in Istanbul/Kartal. The participants’ mean age was 14 years old and 165 of them (40,2%) was female and 245 of them (59,2%) was male persons.

To evaluate internet use “The Scale of Problematic Internat Usage – Adolescents” was used and to evaluate aggressive behavior “Buss-Perry Aggression Scale” was used.

Results of research reveal that the relation between Problematic Internet Usage and Aggression Behavior is a negative direction.
