Abstract

This study was carried out to investigate the regulatory role of organizational virtue in the effect of passive communication style on organizational opposition. In the research, passive communication as the leading communication style and organizational opposition, which is the expression of the employees' views about work and management, are mainly considered. It is also important for organizations to have virtue as well as the presence of employees who oppose the work and transactions performed. In this context, for the efficiency of human capital, it is necessary for providing an organizational opposition culture and for listening to the opinions and suggestions of virtuous employees by leaders. In the scope of this study, with the participation of 851 people working in four and five star hotels operating in Turkey performing survey results has been analyzed. According to the research, it is determined that organizational virtue has a regulatory role in the effect of passive communication style on open and hidden opposition.
