Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the argument that the voluntary involvement of university students in organizations will support the development of entrepreneurship level and characteristics. Therefore, it was examined whether there is a difference in entrepreneurship levels for demographic characteristics of students about volunteering. In order to determine the distribution of entrepreneurship factors, a Descriptive Factor Analysis was conducted and five factors such as innovation, determination, ambition, creativity and self-confidence were determined. The questionnaires were sent to 375 Pamukkale University students who volunteered for the 2017 Koç Sports Fest Organization by mail and message in Google survey format. The results of 201 data set were analyzed by statistical analysis program. As a result, general entrepreneurship levels of the students were high. It is seen that there is a significant difference in creativity and determination factors especially according to working conditions while studying. In addition, the creativity level of the students who had a business idea of their own was found to be higher than those who had no business idea.
