Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the moderator effect of job satisfaction in the relationship between normative commitment and turnover intention. The research data was obtained from the employees of a public enterprise operating in the agricultural industry in Adana. 438 employees participated in the research. Correlation and regression analysis were applied by SPSS 26 program. The results of the analysis revealed that there is a negative relationship between normative commitment and intention to quit, and job satisfaction has a moderator effect in this relationship. On the other hand, there is a positive relationship between normative commitment and job satisfaction and a negative relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention.
