A RESEARCH ON EMPLOYEES’ BRIEF SELF-CONTROL PERCEPTIONS

Self-control is defined as being able to control his own feelings, thoughts and behaviors in order to establish harmonious relationships with other people. This study has been carried out to determine the brief self-control on the perceptions of the employees, which have not been updated in the literature and not yet sufficiently studied. In this study, self-control perceptions of employees were measured. The research was carried out on the data collected by survey method from 409 people working in different sectors in Karabük province. Hypotheses were tested by using the SPSS package program by collecting data from the survey method from the employees determined by simple random sampling method. Cronbach Alpha (α) value was used for reliability analysis and the research found reliable. In the research, one sample t test, independet samples t test and ANOVA tests were applied. As a result, self-control behaviors were found statistically significant in individuals.
