A RESEARCH ON SME'S VIEWS OF ISLAMIC FINANCE IN TURKEY: THE CASE OF ANKARA PROVINCE

Abstract

Although there are various studies in the literature to measure the opinions of SMEs regarding Islamic finance, there are very few studies on this subject. for SMEs in Ankara. The main purpose of the study measuring the views of  SMEs operating in Ankara for Islamic finance and determine which factors influence the adoption of Islamic finance in Ankara. In this study, one-way analysis of variance test for unrelated measurements, t-test, and LSD test for multiple comparisons were used to examine whether there is a significant relationship between the views of SMEs on Islamic finance and the factors affecting the adoption of Islamic finance and the attitude towards Islamic finance. In this study; It has been stated that there is no significant difference between the attitude towards Islamic finance and the demographic variables, but there is a significant difference between the type of bank currently working and the intention to work with any Islamic bank in the future. In addition, the study found that there is a strong positive relationship between the attitude towards Islamic finance and the other variables; It was determined that there was a positive but weak relationship between organizational culture and government support.
