THE RESEARCH OF AGRICULTURAL DEVELEOPMENT COOPERATIVES WHICH DAIRY PROJECT PRACTICES IN CENTRAL DISTRICT OF KASTAMONU PROVINCE

In this research, agricultural development cooperatives which dairy Project practies in Kastamonu province were investigated. The main material of the study was formed the data obtained from the questionnaires conducted 10 cooperative managers and 98 cooperative partners by using “The Purposive Sampling Method” in order to represent the agricultural development cooperatives and their common numbers in the Central District. The data entry in the questionnaire forms was made in Excel. According to tha research findings, cooperative managers are all men, 60% are primary school graduates and the average age is 52.8 years. Of the cooperative partners, 5.1 % are women, 94.9 % are men, 73.47 % are over 40 years old and 75% are secondary school graduates. 18% of the cooperative partners have been cooperative partners for more than 20 years. Approximately 98% of the partners sell its milk to the cooperatives. 100% of the milk gathered by the Cooperative are sold to dairy processing establishment locatad in the same area. The milk purchase prices of the cooperatives changes between 1.10 TL/Lt and 1.65 TL/Lt. The average price of milk feed provided to the partners by the cooperative was 77,00 TL/50 Kg, and the average selling price of these feeds was 78,80 TL/50 Kg. in the sellers. The participation rate of General Assembly meetings is aprroximately 92%. 96.91 % of producers are determined to be satisfied with the cooperative management and staff.
