One of the biggest problems faced by entrepreneurs in realizing their ideas is the supply of financial resources. With the effects of the 2008 economic crisis, the supply of these financial resources became difficult, and the entrepreneurs turned to the search for alternative resources. The developments in computer and internet technology have influenced this search for alternative funds, and have brought many important changes in the field of finance as well as in every field. Crowdfunding, one of these important changes, emerges as an internet and crowd-based venture finance model that makes it possible to obtain financial resources for the creation of new ventures. Crowdfunding, which is preferred to fund new and innovative initiatives, brings together project owner entrepreneurs and supporters who fund projects on internet-based platforms. In the research, it is aimed to develop a new scale with the approach of revealing the reasons that motivate the supporters who fund crowdfunding and reward-based projects. In line with the purpose, an item pool was created as a result of the literature review and presented to expert opinions. The resulting draft scale was applied to supporters who fund award-based projects on crowdfunding platforms with convenience sampling method. In the research, a scale consisting of 15 questions, the validity and reliability of which was proven, was developed by applying descriptive statistics, validity and reliability analysis, exploratory (exploratory) and confirmatory factor analysis.
