POLİTİK YETİ: LİTERATÜR TARAMASI VE BİBLİYOMETRİK ANALİZ

Bu çalışmada, öncelikle politik yeti olgusuna dair literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Çalışma çerçevesinde; politik yeti olgusunun bireyler ve örgütler bakımından önemine, bu olgunun dayandığı teorilere, tanımlarına, özelliklerine, ölçeklerine, boyutlarına, öncül ve ardıllarına yer verilmektedir. Sonrasında politik yeti olgusuyla ilgili Türkiye’de yazılmış lisansüstü tezlerin mevcut durumu ve eğilimi bibliyometrik analiz yoluyla ortaya konulmaktadır. Hem literatür taraması hem de bibliyometrik analiz yardımıyla bu konuda çalışma yapmayı düşünen araştırmacılara ışık tutmak amaçlanmıştır. İlgili lisansüstü tezleri belirlemek için YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezi Veri Tabanı’nda 2021 yılına kadar tarama yapılmıştır. Tarama sonuçlarından hareketle politik yetiye ilişkin tespit/çıkarım yapılan ve/veya bulguya ulaşılan 33 adet yüksek lisans ve 12 adet doktora olmak üzere 2008-2021 yılları arasında hazırlanmış toplam 45 adet lisansüstü tez çalışmanın araştırma kapsamına alınmıştır. Akabinde bu tezlerin “betimsel özellikler”, “içerik ve araştırma yöntemi”, “örneklem”, “veri”, “analiz teknikleri”, “kaynakça” ve “atıf” açısından bibliyometrik özelliklerini tespit etmek için ikincil veri kullanmak suretiyle içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Elde edilen analiz bulguları belirlenen 7 kriter ve 28 araştırma sorusu doğrultusunda genellikle tez türü bakımından sıklık ve yüzde bazında tablolaştırılmıştır. “Tartışma ve sonuç” başlığı altında ise bu bulgular ışığında tespitler ve çıkarımlar yapılmıştır. Bunun yanında ilerideki çalışmalara ilişkin önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

POLITICAL SKILL: LITERATURE REVIEW AND BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSİS

In this study, first of all, a literature review on the phenomenon of political skill was written. Within the framework of the study, the importance of the phenomenon of political skill in terms of individuals and organizations, the theories on which this phenomenon is based, its definitions, characteristics, scales, dimensions, antecedents and outcomes were included. And then, this study reveals the current status and trend of graduate theses written in Turkey about the  phenomenon of political skill. With the help of both literature review and bibliometric analysis, it is aimed to shed light on researchers, who are considering working on this phenomenon. In order to determine the relevant graduate theses, the Database of National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education was searched until 2021. By taking action based on search results, a total of 45 graduate theses prepared between 2008 and 2021, of which are 33 master’s theses and 12 doctoral dissertations with determinations/inferences and/or findings about political skill, were included in the research scope of this study. Later on, content analysis was carried out by using secondary data to determine the bibliometric characteristics of these theses in terms of “descriptive features”, “content and research method”, “sample”, “data”, “analysis techniques”, “references” and “citation”. The findings of analysis were tabulated generally on the basis of frequency and percentage in terms of the type of thesis, in line with 7 criteria and 28 research questions determined. In the light of these findings, determinations and inferences were made under the title of “discussion and conclusion”. Moreover, suggestions for future studies were made.
