ÖZEL YETENEKLİ ÖĞRENCİLERİN ÖĞRETMENLERİ İÇİN GELİŞTİRİLEN YENİLİKÇİ YÖNTEM VE TEKNİKLERE İLİŞKİN PROGRAMIN ETKİLİLİĞİ

Bu araştırmada, özel yetenekli öğrencilerle çalışan öğretmenlere, yenilikçi yaklaşım, strateji, yöntem ve teknikleri etkileşimli olarak kazandırmayı hedefleyen bir programı uygulayarak bu programın etkililiğini değerlendirmek amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda, deneysel modelde tasarlanan çalışmada, deneme öncesi modellerden tek grup ön test-son test modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada, amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnekleme tekniğine göre katılımcılar belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen ölçütlere göre, Türkiye’deki 31 farklı ilden, 18 farklı branştan 22 kadın, 32 erkek olmak üzere Bilim Sanat Merkezleri’nde çalışan toplam 54 öğretmenden oluşan bir örneklem çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında, 2018 yılı Haziran ayı içerisinde, öğretmenlere sekiz alan uzmanı tarafından altı günde toplam 57 saat süren eğitimler verilmiştir. Hazırlanan eğitim programının değerlendirilmesinde, “Kirkpatrick Eğitim Program Değerlendirme Modeli” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, eğitim öncesi ve sonrası başarı puan ortalamaları arasında manidar bir farklılık olup olmadığı normallik varsayımının sağlandığı koşulda, bağımlı örneklemler t testi ile sağlanmadığında ise Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar testi ile test edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucu, öğretmenlerin eğitim öncesi ve sonrası başarı puan ortalamaları arasında manidar bir farklılık olduğu  (t₁=-27.729; t₂=-8.461; t₃=-6.209; t₄=-7.052; t5=-9.825; p=0.00) ve bu farkların son test lehine olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, çalışma kapsamında verilen eğitimlerin yaygınlaştırılması ve teknolojik gelişmelere ve çağın ihtiyaçlarına paralel olarak güncellenerek devam etmesi önerilmektedir.

EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PROGRAM REGARDING INNOVATIVE METHODS AND TECHNIQUES DEVELOPED FOR THE TEACHERS OF SPECIALLY GIFTED STUDENTS

In this research, it was aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of this program by implementing a program that aims to have the teachers working with gifted students gain innovative approaches, strategies, methods and techniques interactively. In this context, a single group pre-test and post-test model among the models implemented before the experiment was used in this study which was designed in the experimental model. In the study, participants were determined according to the criterion sampling technique, which is one of the purposeful sampling methods. According to the criteria specified, a sample group consisting of 22 women and 32 men, in total, 54 teachers working in Science and Art Centers was included in the study. These teachers were coming from 31 different cities of Turkey and had 18 different branches. Within the scope of the research, the teachers received 57 hours of training within six days by eight field experts in June 2018. “Kirkpatrick Program Evaluation Model” was used to evaluate the prepared training program. In the analysis of the data, whether there was a significant difference between the mean scores before and after the training was tested with the t-test provided that the normality assumption was provided and it was tested with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test when not provided. As a result of the dependent samples t-test for the groups where the pre-test and post-test were implemented, it was seen that there was a significant difference between the pre and post-training achievement point averages (t₁=-27.729; t₂=-8.461; t₃=-6.209; t₄=-7.052; t5=-9.825; p=0.00) and these differences were in favor of the post-test. As a result, it is suggested that the training given within the scope of the study should be expanded and updated in line with the technological advances and the needs of the age.
