TARIMSAL KALKINMA KOOPERATİFLERİNDE SWOT ANALİZİ: UŞAK İLİ ÖRNEĞİ

Avrupa ülkeleri, ABD ve diğer gelişmiş ülkeler kooperatifçiliği destekleyerek ürün/hizmet üreten birçok bireyin birlikte hareket etmeleri için ortam oluşturmuşlardır. Kooperatiflerde esas amaç kâr elde etmek değil kendisinin sahibi olan çok sayıda ortağın ihtiyaçlarını karşılamaktır. Kooperatiflerde masraflar düşüldükten sonra geriye kalan gelirler ortaklara dağıtılmaktadır. Son yıllarda dünya genelinde çok farklı konularda faaliyet gösteren ve sayıları her geçen gün artan yeni kooperatif türlerine rastlamak mümkündür. Tarım kooperatifleri de bu kooperatif türlerinden birisidir. Tarımsal amaçlı kooperatifler günümüzde özellikle ekonomisi tarıma dayalı ülkelerin kalkınmasında en etkili araçlardan birisidir. Tarımsal amaçlı kooperatiflerin başarılı olması için kooperatif yöneticileri ve ortaklarının kooperatifçilik konusunda eğitim almaları gerekmektedir. Ayrıca kooperatiflerin mevcut durumlarının analiz edilerek stratejik planlar oluşturulması gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Uşak ilinde faaliyet gösteren tarımsal kalkınma kooperatiflerinin mevcut durumlarını ortaya koymak ve bunlara dair avantaj ve dezavantajları belirlemektir. Çalışmada SWOT analizi ile Uşak ilinde faaliyet gösteren tarımsal kalkınma kooperatiflerinin güçlü ve zayıf yönleri, fırsat ve tehditleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.

SWOT ANALYSIS IN AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT COOPERATIVES: A CASE STUDY IN USAK PROVINCE

European countries, the United States and other developed countries have supported cooperatives and have created an environment where many individuals producing products / services could move together. The main purpose of cooperatives is to meet the needs of its members (owners) and not to make profit. The remaining revenues after deducting costs are distributed to the shareholders in cooperatives. Nowadays, agricultural cooperatives are one of the most effective tools especially in the development of the countries having agriculture-based economy. Cooperative managers and their partners need to be trained about cooperative system for agricultural cooperatives to be successful. In addition, strategic plans must be formed by analyzing the current state of cooperatives. The purpose of this study is to determine the current state of agricultural development cooperatives operating in Usak and determine their advantages and disadvantages. In this study, the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of agricultural development cooperatives operating in Uşak were tried to be determined by using the SWOT analysis.
